Q & A

Ceremony / Reception

What time should I arrive?

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 12:00 PM, so we recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to allow plenty of time to find your seat. Cocktail hour begins at 5:00 PM at the reception venue. Please plan to arrive at or after 5:00 PM, as the venue will not be open to guests beforehand.

What should we do during the “Catholic Gap”?

There will be a few hours between the end of our Nuptial Mass and the start of cocktail hour - otherwise known as the “Catholic Gap.” Use this time to grab some lunch, explore the area, relax, or enjoy some of our favorite local spots. Need ideas? Check out our “What to Do” page for recommendations!

Are kids invited?

We’d love for our wedding to be a parents’ night out! That said, we completely understand that some of our guests are traveling from far away and may not be able to make the trip without their little ones. If you plan to bring your children, please include them in your RSVP and let us know whether they will be attending the ceremony, the reception, or both.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

No. The ceremony will be held at Saint Edward Catholic Church, followed by the reception at the Venue at Stonebrook Meadows.

Will dinner be served?

Yes! Cocktail hour and dinner will both be catered by one of Kira’s favorite local spots, Pasta Grill. We will have appetizers available during cocktail hour, followed by blackened chicken alfredo, lasagna, salad, and breadsticks for dinner. As for dessert, we are not big cake people, so we’re doing things a little differently! Loblolly Creamery, another one of Kira’s local favorites, will be bringing their ice cream truck to serve up scoops for everyone. You’ll be able to choose between a waffle cone or a cup!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, we will have an open bar for you to enjoy throughout the reception. Drink responsibly, dance irresponsibly.

Travel

What airport should I fly into?

If you’re flying in for the wedding, Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock (LIT) is the closest major airport to the wedding. From there, you’ll need to arrange a rental car or other transportation to get to the wedding festivities. We’re so grateful to everyone traveling to celebrate with us!

Is transportation provided?

At this time, we’re still working on it! Our reception venue is down a gravel road that unfortunately cannot accommodate a large bus, so we’re exploring other transportation options that will work for everyone. Stay tuned - TBD!

Where should I stay?

We will have hotel options for our guests with room block information available soon! Check back on our Travel page for recommended hotels, room block details, and booking information. We’d love for you to stay nearby and make a weekend out of it with us!

GIFTS

Where are you registered?

If you’d like to give us a gift, you can find all of our registry information under the Registry tab. Since we’ll be traveling from Texas for the wedding, we’d greatly prefer for gifts to be mailed directly to our home rather than brought to the wedding. It’ll save us from having to figure out how to get everything back home! Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift!

Do you have a honeymoon fund?

We do! If you would like to contribute to our honeymoon and help us make some unforgettable memories as newlyweds, you can find our honeymoon fund under the Registry tab.
